Nashville Tourism & Convention Center

We were always a
close family, if ya
knows what I means.

The Nashville Convention Center is located in the heart of downtown Nashville. The Convention Center has 118,675 square feet of exhibit space, a beautiful ball room and 25 meeting rooms. It is located at 601 Commerce Street. Those attending conventions and tourists are welcomed to a great choice of restaurants and live clubs such as Tootsies with nightly venues and the Hard Rock Cafe. Nashville can boost of it's own NFL football team, The Tennessee Titans, and NHL, The Precators hockey team. Also located in the heart of Nashville is the Country Music Hall of Fame which has vertical windows that wrap around the building to appear to look like the black keys of a grand piano. The concrete wall that juts out from the building's corner resembles the tail fin of a '57 Chevy. Located inside in the lobby is the snack bar that loors the lunch bunch with items like "Hummus a Tune," "I fall to Split Pea Soup," and "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden Salad." Just "Up the Street" at 333 Commerce Street is the Bell South Building. We whom are locals have affectionately dubed the building as the "Batman Building" or the"Bat Tower" because it has the resemblance to the mask worn by Batman. So much so that a Batman car was parked out side the building for its grand opening in _____________. The Bell South Building is 188-meter (617-foot), 33 story skyscraper becoming a landmark for Nashville and reinforcing a modern image for the city. Nearby is the Historical Union Station Hotel, a former railroad station, located at 1001 Broadway. Opened in 1900, this Richardsoniam Romaneaque masterpiece was restored in 1998. The breathtaking lobby features a 65 foot vaulted ceiling of Tiffany stained glass, glittering gold-leaf mirrors and basrelief sculptures. Spectacular oversized guest rooms feature historic charm with the best of todays modern amenities. Thanks for visiting us at "Nashville" online!

Seems like there's
always work around
here to be done.
